A Photo walk through Antigua’s Cobblestone Streets

“Antigua Guatemala, you beautiful son of a bitch.” This thought rang over and over in my head while I took a walk through Antigua’s cobblestone streets. With its bright and colorful buildings, colonial style, locals selling their bright and colorful goods, and large squares packed with eye-catching scenery, Antigua is not camera shy. Add in a backdrop of green jungle and 3 active volcanoes and you have my favorite city in Central America for photos. As pointed out in my post on why I fell for Antigua, it is also my favorite city in Central America for its food, people, and laid back style. My visit here left me wanting to drop my bags and stick around for awhile. A walk through Antigua’s cobblestone streets only solidified this thought.

Of course, as this is a photo post, don’t just take my word for it. With that in mind, here is my photo walk through Antigua’s cobblestone streets. See for yourself why this colorful town tops my Central America must-see list. Hopefully, it will become your favorite as well.
